A designer born in Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1969, she graduated from Belo Horizonte University, Brazil in 1992, the same year she also attended the School of Jewellery Design. She began working in Brazil designing jewellery.

In 1994, she finished a master's degree at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan, after which she collaborated with the Iosa Ghini, Bonini Spicciolato and Anna Gili studios.
From 1995 to 2001 she collaborated with architect Marco Zanini at Sottsass Associati, Milan developing projects including: objects, exhibitions, showrooms, yachts and private residences. Currently she is working as an independent designer.

Her private work includes designing objects such as silverware for Pampaloni, silk-screened glass vases for Egizia, stainless steel for Brognoli, decorations for Muraoka Japan, porcelain for Rosenthal, furniture for Edra.

She has taken part in exhibitions such as "nel Segno dell'Angelo", held at the Bianca Pilat Italia gallery in 1992, "Contenitorio", at the Triennale in Milan in 1995 and "Tanto di Coppola" at the Palazzo Intelligente Foundation in Palermo, Italy, in 1999.

She has received awards and has been seleted in numerous design contests among which:

  • Grand Prize "The Best Yachts of 2002 - Show Boats Awards" - for Motor Yacht Skat.
  • The Macef award for one of the best products of the Spring 2002 edition.
  • In the "Young&Design" international contest with a piece of furniture, 2001.
  • "Lorenz" prize in Germany with a children's puzzle,1998.
  • Home appliances for "Continental 2001" 1992 in Brazil.
